Arrgh! No internet!

Last Monday, the internet died at my house. Much calling of our brightly-coloured broadband company ensued to no avail. We are switching to another company forthwith.

Until then, things may be a little quiet around here and I won't be able to comment as much as usual.

Alhamdulilah, it's not the worse thing in the world, but it is mightily irritating.

Yes, I've been through that a few times, when a computer died, etc. First I had to go through some withdrawal. But then, after I could get through that it was kind of nice, too. Like a fast.

Sorry about no internet. What a drag!

I can't find where your e-mail link is, so I'll leave your interview questions here.

1. This is sort of a backhand interview question. As a Muslim convert, I know there are a series of things that people ask about your life that are quite ignorant and/or annoying. What are 2 questions that you wish people would ask more often, and how would you answer?

2. You list in your profile that you enjoy martial arts films. What is it about this genre that you enjoy, and what are your favorite 3 films?

3. You also mention that you like songs that you can sing out loud to. Are you a soprano or alto? Do you enjoy karaoke?

4. If you had $10,000 to spend or donate as you wish, how would you choose to use the money?

5. Name 3 of your heroes/heroines - 1 from film, 1 from literature and 1 from real life.

6. For a person that is not Muslim but is interested in learning more about the faith, do you have any resources to recommend (books/sites/films/etc.)?

I look forward to reading your answers!

I know how bad that is! I had a similar situation to deal with last winter, in December...After about 10 hours of waiting (in about 4 sessions), I finally switched companies..

I hope everything comes back to normal asap :)
